So this is a bit of an update in relation to the Xbox receiver guides. I picked this up with the intention to see where the differences are and make a new device page, but the set is $20 extra, and I had to make do with what I could buy. I was thinking I could make an updated guide so I can split the problem points away from [link|https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/How+to+install+the+Xbox+One+Wireless+Receiver+1713+on+Windows+7+and+Windows+8-8.1/102955|the original] and it just worked this time around :-). Yes it's anticlimactic but on one hand I'd rather see it work this time around instead of need a guide like the old one. I was also wondering about the new d-pad but this receiver gave me an excuse.
I will test this on my 6300U 840 G3 as this is my 6200U one, but I hope the same thing happens. If so, guide may not be needed.
Yep - no issue on my 6300U 840 either
