I actually think that question belongs on Answers, not meta. It's repair related—he wants to hack his iPod to make it work longer. That's a legitimate repair question.
But that's beside the point of your request, which is that you want a feature to switch an answer to a question. We've considered it in the past, but wanted to keep the moderation options as simple as possible. How often would you use a feature like this? Can you provide me with a few other examples?
