Battery disconnect on repair guides.

I’ve noticed a couple of people having issues with screen replacements following Ifixit guides today.

On closer inspection the guides were not showing to disconnect the battery first!

I get it can be a short cut, it can also be a recipe for disaster also surely.

I left comments on both to ask is there a reason for this.

Any thoughts on the matter?
