"iCloud Removal Unlock Apple ID" is there now a credible possible fix

We got a lot of answers in today purporting a fix for locked Apple products by this guy:https://www.ifixit.com/User/Contributions/1723140/mkbvc41
I'm very tempted to just get the guy banned for SPAM but wanted to check with ya'll to see if it might now be a valid solution.
I did a search on eBay for "iCloud Removal Unlock Apple ID " and came up with several.

Are all these scams? Does anyone know anything about them or have any actual experience using one?
