What about making a "how it works category"?

It would be like guides, except explaining how the device works, in simplistics terms that people not as techy can understand. what do you all think?

just browsing, I found this. https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/How+Does+A+... like that (does not have to be a video)

Guides aren't really well suited to non-procedural information, but you can make wikis! They don't get the traffic they deserve. Maybe you can write some cool articles that'll change that?

What devices did you want to cover?

No idea what to cover, I was just thinking.

@paperboypaddy anyone can work on any wiki they want. Search for existing ones to add to them, or head to http://www.ifixit.com/new to start new topics.

@captainsnowball I do not think that is a good idea. It'll get way to messy and confusing to people looking for answers. I support the idea by @evan and have long advocated the use of Wiki's for those types of informational only documents. Check these out https://www.ifixit.com/Wiki/Troubleshhot... and https://www.ifixit.com/Wiki/Electronics_... ,see what you think. There are over 2000 of those and maybe a better cataloging to make the Wiki's more visible could help.
