I see this often in poorly written answers and often hidden behind a shortened link like this one: https://www.ifixit.com/Answers/View/2873...

I've been told not to be marking them as spam a while back so I stopped. should I mark them as off topic or just keep on leaving them alone? to me this fixingblog has poor grammar.

@captainsnowballjust mark it as "off topic" and the mods will get to it. Just because something is not grammatically correct (I am speaking from my own experience) does not mean it is spam or wrong. Not everybody on this planet speaks English as well as you do.;-) We need to become tolerant and accepting of this.

I know. I'm accepting but fixingblog is a community thing (I think) so there have to be some people that know english

In the first case, I removed the keyspam post as duplicate/off-topic. I assume the interactions with it were treating it as a joke, no harm is being done.

In the second, the blog does list good content, and doesn't seem to be pushing sketchy third-party drivers or applications, but does have a pop-up offering windows support by phone. So it's suspicious, but the user hasn't posted other content, isn't trying to gain rep, so I'm going to assume they found the site legitimately. We can keep an eye on other users posting links to fixingblog, but leave that user for now.

Spam/offensive deducts 100 rep. Use it as a last resort. Use off topic way before spam/offensive. Sometimes I'll even mark spam as off topic.
