Well, we do have other perfectly good content here to help you fix things. I mean, it's in the name of the site. You've gotta just cool your jets and maybe try turning your internet appliances (including your computer) off and back on again.

Hi,

Did you add any web page links to the question?

If you did, it may be that ifixit's automatic spam checker thought that it was a link to spam so it deleted the question.

Sometimes it is a bit over zealous.

Head over to meta.ifixit.com and post your question/complaint there so the ifixit admin can check it out.

This site gets a lot of questions/answers where spam tries to be posted.

Hi James! I got your email and rectified this the other day! Your question can be found here https://www.ifixit.com/Answers/View/4863...

Our spam filter serves an important function, protecting users from malicious spam. Our robot tries its best, but sometimes model numbers look like spam phone numbers and things get caught in the crossfire. I'm sorry you had a bad experience, we're continually training the bot, and things should be better in the future! Hope you get the answers you're looking for!

Type your post into Notepad; take all the time you need. Once you have finished typing it into Notepad, and once you have made all the changes and corrections you want to your post, then copy it from Notepad and paste it into a new post on this forum. In this way, there is no danger of the system timing out on you.
