Hi i was just wondering if the battery is the same as the one that is original in my MacBook. I am afraid of using a battery not from apple that will cause a problem later on. Thanks

In response to your question, that part is made to the same specifications as an OEM part, but cannot be classified as “OEM” because it is not made by the OEM.
For our definition of what makes an OEM Part click here. Our parts are brand new, fully tested, and are held to higher standards, specifically iFixit Quality. Most of our parts and tools also come with a Lifetime Warranty—batteries hold a 1 year.
Not every part we sell is OEM, but sometimes you don’t want them to be. Manufacturers set ridiculously high parts prices to discourage repair. That’s not our game; we source parts from only the best suppliers and even harvest parts from brand new products that have been returned to the retailers. iFixit parts strike the best balance of cost, availability, function, reliability, and durability.
