Update to any answer not working.

While trying to update my answer on here https://www.ifixit.com/Answers/View/5057... I noticed that this function no longer works.

Original answer posted on 08/02 then the OP added information. Habitually, I respond to this with another answer “Add your Answer” and then click “Post my answer” I get the “You have already answered this” dialog box. I click “Update answer” which takes me to the edit window of the original answer but no update is posted. This has worked previously but quit working the last couple of days.

Hey OT,

Just to clarify, the issue is that the ‘MM/DD/YY Update’ text is no longer appearing in the Answer box when you want to update it, correct?

@evan the whole text etc. does not get transferred to the update. Once I click update the original answer edit window opens but no text transfers.

I've faced this too today! I had to post it as a answer for it to save, then I had to alter it to a comment to then update my answer. Here's the one I was working on External Display shows black
