Battery not charging after 1st replacement with the battery kit

Hello,

I have a Macbook Pro Retina 13” from early 2015 that has been troubling me with battery replacement. Basically a couple of weeks ago, I found out that the entire battery needed to be replaced as confirmed by Apple Genius and instead of paying for 200$ for the replacement through Apple, I bit the bullet and bought the replacement kit from ifixit.com. After replacing the battery, I had no issue and used it for 2-3 weeks but suddenly this morning, I found out that it was doing the same thing with the replaced battery.

I am not entirely sure if this is just the issue of a faulted battery or if there is some sort of disconnect between the AC power with the battery where this keeps happening. Any help would be appreciated!

I’ve already done:

  1. SMC Reset
  2. Took out the battery and placed it back in
