Problem on New Battery replacement

Hi,

I just replaced a new battery bought from the IFIXIT Canada (ifixit.ca) site.

I’ve been charging this battery for over 8 hours. But, the charge socket light still showing Amber light instead of the Green light even though the laptop screen shows 100% fully charged.

Is that still has a problem on this new battery ?

Unless you had previous issues with your Mac, if that’s just the first charge don’t be overly concerned, use it normally for a few charging cycles and see what happens. In case the issue doesn’t disappear you can contact iFixit customer service for support, they deliver a good after sales service.
