New iFixit battery not fully charging according to Coconut Battery
I bought an iFixit battery for my MacBook Air 11-inch (early 2015). It installed okay, but the battery life is around ~2 hours and would die around the 5-7% mark. coconutBattery says it fully charges (100%) at 4376mHa, but the Design Capacity is at 85.8% of 5000 mHa.
So does that mean the battery is off by 14.2%? I tried resetting the SMC but it hasn’t worked. This ~2 hour battery life is no better than the old battery I replaced!
Do I have a defective iFixit battery?
