Is true or false?

Hello all!

It may not be true, but it would be very funny if it were true. Should iFixit warn Apple not to use its material without consent? Should they look for iFixit brand in Apple material shipments?

Summary: Client finds iFixit battery in Apple phone without opening / repairing, bought in Apple Store of Barcelona (Spain).

Where did you see/hear this? If true, it sounds like an accident. Maybe it was a previously repaired phone that went through Apple's refurbishing program, and somehow slipped through without a battery replacement. I've never heard of this happening, so sending out legal warnings might be a bit premature ;)
