Reviews on MacBook Pro 15" ifixit replacement

Hi all, I have a mid 2012 15” macbook pro retina and I’m looking to replace the battery, have found a few sites but ifixit’s are cheapest and also comes with whole the kit and battery vs just the battery from the competitors

what I want to know is how is the battery that comes with these kist? Heard some stories about non-apple batteries smoking, expanding etc - where can I find reviews of the ifixit kits battery and not so much reviews on the guide if they are on the web already? Thanks
