For sure! it's a Hot one!!
Checkout the Computex coverage coming from Taipei. AMD have taken the lead in both in raw compute performance and their chips run much cooler (lower TDP)!
@mayer - Do you think Apple is smart enough to dump Intel for AMD? It would be a Win-Win for both their customers but them as well! As the chips are cheaper and run so much cooler!
@danj Between all of these CPU flaws and now the heat issue, I wouldn't blame them for moving to AMD.
@danj I can see Apple dumping them both and making their own CPUs & GPUs.
