Battery replacement questions I have an iPhone 7

I have an iPhone 7 and I was thinking of replacing the battery, but I was trying to look around for a better battery than the standard iPhone 7 battery. As I was looking I thought maybe I could put an iPhone 8 battery (2,675 mAh) into my iPhone 7 to replace the current battery (1,960 mAh and 84% battery health). My question is 1. Is this possible 2. Is this a good idea 3. Has anyone done this before? Does it actually help battery life? Or would I be better off buying a 7 battery off iFixit/taking it to Apple? whatsapp web

Hi Clinton

The quick answer is, no.

The connector is different, for this reason alone is not something possible.

My opinion is that the battery life would increase very little, the biggest difference is in the components like CPU or screen, the change is not worth the problem.
