After taking out the systems board.Tape the power and volume buttons in place to prevent them falling out,as it is difficult to get them back in after replacing the systems board.
@troppy that is a great idea. You do not have to wait for the iFixit staff to edit the guides. Post your excellent suggestion as a comment to the step that is closest to where you want it to appear. https://www.ifixit.com/Guide/BlackBerry+... this would be the guide and on the bottom right after each step you see the “Add A Comment”. Post it there.
