List of most repairable devices

Hey IfixIt,

You know what would be AWESOME?, a list… a really nice list, searchable, intelligent; a list that we can use to buy the most repairable products in any group (maybe stuff you haven’t even thought of tearing down yet).

I do not like throwing things away because they don’t function like they should anymore.

I have used “repaired” items that are truly ugly but perform, many times. Knowing what to buy that I can repair “aesthetically” would be a boon to my life.

Can I also add that a list of most frequently searched items that don’t have a dissassembly guide as well? I mean, I’d like to know if in the last year 100 people have searched for a tear-down for a Roger’s Cable modem that I just happen to have and so that I can possibly create it. I find it a heck of a time to see what hasn’t been done already (or possibly in the works).
