This Change log is very disturbing - aand I feel bad abt it.

Is there a way to see did I clicked the text box area to do the following edit? - or was it somekind of anomalie?

I DO NOT remember putting link| there ?

There have been lot-of-these-edit and I will post them here as comments.

Hello @thesimpleguy! Good question–it’s not an anomaly, the site is doing what it’s supposed to do.

The addition of [ link | is something our site automatically does to links. It can sometimes be prompted by a user making additions to that page in other ways. In this specific case, it was triggered by the PDF’s that were uploaded.

Well then the denial of these automatic edits are disturbing - f they are denied; they are not ok, are they?

Can I stop it?

Ok. these things have happened me probably 50 times - while this editing does not accept the site's system; Note all these are denied, So that no oe likes it.

Each edit was denied for it's own reason.

In the Samsung link above, they were denied because the PDF's uploaded had a footer that mentioned not using/reproducing them without permission, so they denied the edit out of caution.

@ambertaus iFixit is all good but the media manager is, ......

Today I tried creating a guide, added a image and it says "It can't place here".

Why?

Back to the link thing, No. the edit(916907 - what I posted) does not contain a PDF. ummm :[].

@ambertaus

blabla, you sound to be the great right-to-repair supporter, lol.

If something is available in the Internet wihout malware or paywalls, then it is perfectly good to share it. I do not do feel-good-by-following-a-$@$*!&-law. OK. if that harms your company, then allow me to add a link to it.
