No R/C devices category?

Many R/C quadcopters and cars/trucks have thriving aftermarkets. For example, an R/C "crawler" truck I bought for my 6 year old turns out to have a huge selection of upgrade and repair parts. I'm thrilled, of course… but there's nothing on iFixit, even stubs that I could fill in.

As a tech writer, I understand the importance of taxonomy—especially for a site like this. So could you set up something like this?

  • R/C Devices
    • Aerial
    • Ground
      • Brand 1
        • Model x
        • Model y
      • Brand 2
        • Model f
        • Model g

I finally got back around to this. The instructions worked well, and I think "intermediate" is overestimating it. The image I selected should be public domain, according to the linked page.

Great question @larrykollar!

You can create them, too. Head over to this guide to learn how to create a new device category and here to see how to create a new repair guide. Once you start creating them, our team will go in behind and help sort the taxonomy. Doing it this way will make sure that you get all due credit for all the work that goes into writing about these devices.

Thanks for keeping us in mind and I'm looking forward to seeing your content! Please @ either @krisrodriguez or myself (@amber if we can help you in any way.)
