How can I delete my account?

I just opened an account to ask a question about Salter bathroom scales. I can't post the question without choosing a device but there aren't even scales listed, let alone the model I need. So I chose a random device, hoping that someone would read the title of the question and see what I really need help with. The question still wouldn't post.

I don't like having accounts out there that I don't use but there's no information on how to close the account. Does anyone know how to close an account here?
