And tell people in the "Ask a question page" to either do a search or check the FAQ first?
Seriously, if you search water on the ifixit answers section, 200 questions for basically the same thing. It would save a lot of people effort that could be concentrated on other questions.

We're moving repair questions from here to Answers, and holding discussions in Answers? Should discussions go to Discussions? If so then what is the purpose of meta?

I saw that, and I saw someone made a suggestion then someone else told them to make a new question out of it so I took the liberty, and here we are.

I think that's one of the main problems, people don't realize you can do that. People don't understand how to create wiki pages, etc., plus they're hard to search for and such.

+ maybe now that someone else has brought this up some action will be taken. FWIW I asked this same question in NOVEMBER of 09 I thought that Kyle was starting to collect data at that time. With 3318 answers it seems time.
