Newest member to the iFixit community 💕

@oldturkey03 I figured (although iFixit is a source for all things good), that we could all use a positive vibe on a Saturday. The last few years has been exhausting for everyone, so it’s time we put the world on the right track again!

He sure has fixed a lot of my personal problems already, and it’s only been a week. Having put a VERY difficult year behind me, he has brought so much love into my life, it’s hard to find the words.

@geirandersen you are SO RIGHT with that. My pets (they are actually more friends than pets) have helped me through the turmoil of the last years. I know that they are the best therapy. Unconditional love, always happy to see you and they will always listen to what we tell them and never gossip to anybody about what we told them :-)

My buddy Bentley (13 year old Border Collie mix) ended up with a sarcoma. So, he and I had a long talk and he said let's do it. He is now tripawd and still the best friend ever,

You take care of your buddy Kamo and he will take care off you till the end of time :-)

@oldturkey03 We’ve had two dags befare, and they were both friends, not just pets. We had a schäfer when I was young(er) named Tzarin, and she was the kindest and gentlest friend ever! She unfortunately got diagnosed with cancer when she was around 10, but there was nothing that could be done except palliative care. We took the best care we could for her, but it came a day when we also had to have such a talk. That talk was a bit dark though, as we asked her if she felt it was better to let go. Her answer was yes, so we told her to have a good rest and that we’d see each other again. I don’t cry for much of anything, but that day I bawled my eyes out!

@geirandersen I know it's getting late over in your part of the world. Do you think you could find us some sort of idea sharing conf room for our "team" ?Something where we can share ideas and work on some good iFixit solutions.

I can set up a Discord server for the team, and team members can join. It’ll take me a half hour or so, but I’ll post the link to join the server once it’s done. I’ll post it on the team page as well.

Discord is the only thing I can think of off hand, that is free and open to everyone, though not everyone has / uses Discord.. There are other platforms like Slack, etc. but those are more meant for companies and corporations.
