Quarterly Duplicate Guides (April - June)

Hi,

A big thank you to everyone who has been helping us identify duplicate guides!

Given the amount of duplicates that we're finding, we'll begin posting a quarterly thread to help reduce the length of the original thread.

Since we're getting towards the end of the second quarter, this post will function as both the announcement of the new quarterly thread as well as the place where any duplicate guides found from now until July can be posted.

This means that the next thread will be posted in Q3 from July- September.

There are two Xbox 360 Hard Drive replacement guides.

@guardian10, thank you. Right now we are going to keep both. The community-made guide has more views than the internal iFixit guide. Having more eyes on something means our community values the information. We'll follow-up on this internally.

@krisrodriguez you could say that they aren't even the same guide since the community guide is about replacing the actual hard drive inside the module and not just the module itself. Maybe just make the naming of the guides more distinct?

@shellingrook27, thank you. We're in the middle of revamping our categorization process and this slipped through the cracks. I've gone ahead and merged the content and deleted the device page that I created.

Dublicate categories - request for Delete

Hi @krisrodriguez ,

i found two categories wich seem to describe the same device:

Can someone with enough rep delete:

Also i wondered why the rep-restriction is not mentioned in the matching guide:

I've mentioned this one before, but it seems to have been forgotten and is now causing confusion, so I figured I'd bring it up again. These two are the same console:

The only 2DS models are the Nintendo 2DS and the New Nintendo 2DS XL. "New 2DS" and "2DS XL" are just shorter names for the New Nintendo 2DS XL
