No opening pick in the fix kit?

I sat down with my new fix kit only to realize it contains no opening pick, which is featured in multiple steps in the guide, so I'm blocked on step 2. I noticed the guide doesn't picture the little blue crowbar included in the kit. Does that replace the opening pick?

I moved your concern over to the META site where the iFixit store folks monitor.

I’m sure it was just an over sight in building the kits.

You can use the prying tool in place of the pick if that helps you get in, in the mean time. I've reached out to our team about the discrepancy regarding the tools in the kit vs the guide.
