Replacement Screen doesn’t fit… I think. - Pixel 7 Pro

Recently bought a new screen for my Pixel 7 Pro. Thinking I could fit it myself…..

The screen wont clip in and I think it’s because of the 3 clips that are pictured. They seem to either be in the wrong positions from factory or I’m just blind. They don’t line up with anything on the inside of the phone.

Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.

Also I stuffed up the adhesive so I’m going without it.

I had the same issue. The iFix it should fix their guide. The issue is that the black frame that comes with the new screen is already on the phone. So you have two options:

1- Remove the plastic frame from the newly bought screen

2- Remove the plastic frame from the phone

I went with option one and I damaged the screen :\ But I found this tutorial that removes the frame from the phone. I wished I knew this before doing anything.
