Waterpik battery not replaceable

I have gone thru several models of Waterpik over the years, and all have died because the simple battery won't hold a charge. Trying to replace the battery is futile and requires destructive disassembly as the battery compartment is glued shut. Their customer service is not sympathetic. They are expensive. I don't see any mention of this device on your website. Why is this?

Answer this question I have this problem too

@rauth106 in part probably because there are just to many devices out there, for iFixit to work on all of them. The other part of this is that those types of guides are most commonly authored by users like you and I. There may not have been to much interest in creating those guides. Now, maybe it is time that we look into this as a community and start a trend.

If you have a waterpik at your disposal, start by tearing it down. Destructive or not. Let's start somewhere. Create a guide and state in it what the issues are with tearing it apart etc. We can all go to it and edit and add to it.

While you work on your Waterpik, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit. https://ifixit.com/Guide/new The iFixit community will appreciate this.

There are a lot of really smart people on here. I am convinced that we can get this all figured out with the right amount of teamwork.
