[Meta] Logitech Partnership and lack of parts/guides

Sorry if this isn't placed in the correct location, let me know if there is a better one to post this.

More than a year ago logitech announced a partnership with ifixit to provide genuine parts and guides on fixing logitech products (https://ir.logitech.com/press-releases/p...).

But when looking at ifixit guides for products they are very sparse, and lack some major desires for replacement, specifically replacement shell/grip for Logitech MX Master 3/s, a very common issue that cause a lot of users to replace their MX Master 3's which could be a simple guide/fix, provided the materials existed.

I was wondering if this partnership fell off, or did logitech convince ifixit that the only fixes needed were battery and feet replacement?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Hey there Wacky,

I migrated your question to Meta. The people here should be able to give you a better answer then what can be given on the standard iFixit answer form. Best of luck to you!

Thanks guys, would be really exciting about the grip fix specifically. I also have a G610 keyboard that has busted switches I need to get around swapping out too =)

These are great questions, @wackyweasel! I'm pretty excited about all the work we've been able to do with Logitech and we'll have some new releases soon. I can't share any specifics as of yet, but I can say you should check back in the next few weeks. =]
