No stenography machine repair guides?

I have been looking online for a week or so now to try and help my wife with a problem she is having with her stenography machine. It seems like a simple fix of just soldering in a new USB B port but I can’t find any disassembly guides anywhere. We are not really trying to send away the machine since she is in class using it and to me it seems like there aren’t many places that do repairs other than Stenograph the company itself. Honestly just curious if anyone has insight.

The model of the stenograph is a Diamante.
