Ifixit replacement battery is TOO long

I purchased a replacement battery from IFixit, but it is 2.2mm longer than the original battery. I can't see how I can get it to fit. Replacement battery model is 616-0531. The model of the original is 616-0533. Any suggestions appreciated.
