@maxfieldx not sure if the iFixit team is going to answer that for you. Ultimately it should not matter since you are thinking about purchasing the battery from iFixit. That means you are purchasing a quality product (regardless of who the OEM is) and it even carries a One Year Guarantee.
What more can you ask for :-) Seriously, around here none of us would have any reservations in purchasing from iFixit. We all have been around long enough to know that they are selling quality parts only.
