Moderator edits that don't make sense

On all of my 3 articles there are edits by people either marked as moderator or according to there self description working at Ifixit. Some of those edits made sense and I am very gratefull for them others are "questionable". On every guide there is atleast one actual or practical non edit.

For example one Ifixit employee approved their own "These edits result in no net change and should be denied." edit on two seperate guides. Another user, this time a moderator, removed the "in progress" flag(of the introduction?) at 10:49:38, made the introduction public at 10:49:46 and made it private at 10:49:53. Those 3 edits happend while I was finishing up the guide, fixing some things.

If they were by a normal user I would have assumed that they were doing some kind of stat hacking or similar things but I'd assume Ifixit employees and moderators don't have a reason for this so I'd be interested in the reasons for this

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

The "These edits result in no net change and should be denied." means they made it public which is followed by moderator approval of the guide adding reputation points. It’s nothing to worry about. If you just approve it by publishing, then the guide reports that. That said if you do both edits and publish they both get grouped in the same edit. Here’s an example of a combo edit:
