Question:

Can I install this safely and return if this doesn't work within 30days?
What is this touch panel pairing? If i plan to use my existing touch panel, does this matter? or does the touch panel come with the logic board?

PLEASE, do not share your Serial number. It is like sharing the key to the front door of your identity. Just the EMCxxxx and Axxxx numbers are enough.

I removed your serial number and replaced it with X's to keep your info safe. Thanks to @theogrefalda for catching that. We only need the EMC and A-number.

Returns:

  • If the board is defective (not from anything you did), it's covered by our Lifetime Guarantee. We'll replace it for free, with no time limit.
  • If the board gets damaged while or after you install it, we can't replace it.
  • Our 30-day refund is only for new, unused parts. Once it's installed, it can't be refunded.

Touch ID (the "touch panel pairing" you asked about):

  • The board comes with a Touch ID sensor that's already paired to it.
  • Use that sensor, not your old one.
  • If you use a different one, the board still works, but Touch ID won't.
  • The paired sensor is included, so you don't need to buy one.
