Finding replacement parts in Europe

Hiya,

I'm trying to find a reliable source of replacement parts for Apple computers in Europe. I'm currently located in Germany and tend to buy most stuff from the US. As OWC recently raised their shipping costs quite a lot, I'm looking for a new source.

Also, I've been searching for a topcase replacement for a mid-2012 MacBook Air 13" for about a week now, does anyone know a good source for parts that might have this?

Thanks in advance!

I got in touch with Scott D, our Customer Service rep in charge of reseller accounts. He should be in touch with you early on next week about working something out.

If I need to get my parts in Europe quickly, I just go to ebay.co.uk (or ebay.de), and then search for them within the EU. You then have to look for a seller with a reuputation of 99.5% or higher unless you want to get ripped off. You'll get your parts usually within a week, but they will cost a bit more than if you bought them elsewhere (e.g. China).

For larger orders I have a supplier in China that provides me with a very extensive selection of parts (one or two orders of magnitude more than iFixit (no offense)), and for a very good price (virtually everything is a lot cheaper than on iFixit). Plus, the shipping takes 3-5 days and not 1-2 weeks as from iFixit. An added bonus is that I can choose the quality of the product (b copy, a copy, aa copy, original used, etc) for most products, and out of the 2 years that I have been with my current supplier, I've only had an issue with one product (out of hundreds), because they test them all before shipping.
