Hey Stevenmyth,
Unfortunately the two camera assemblies are slightly different. Even if the connectors were compatible (which I am not sure of), the cables from the connector to the camera in each are different shapes, so the new camera would not sit in the same spot, and the device would not be able to fit back together.
