Features

• We now support Japanese!

• Added the ability for all users to change their unique username once per hour and for admin users to change or remove any other user's unique username
• Completely redesigned the Stories page. Stories now include more information about the guide or tools used and a comment thread

• Improved how the language selector appears on guides and wikis by moving it to the top of the device page.
• Added the option for viewers to subscribe to a post, without creating an account, by simply entering their email address.
• Updated the PDF format of guides to have higher resolution images.
• Started displaying numbers in the appropriate format based on user’s selected language
• Improved wording of coupon error messages
• Added a section to the "Contributions" tab on the profile page to display any Stories written by that user

• Completely resigned the Answers Tags page so that—instead of displaying every tag in a long list—tags are sorted into categories and displayed in small groups

• Removed the minimum resolution limit on images added to Wiki pages
• Added ability to add tables to Guide Introductions
• Restyled the minicart in the product pages sidebar

• Added functionality so that Answers and document links are automatically detected and transformed into wiki syntax like

• Created a preferences page where users can set the frequency they receive certain emails
• Added a Slovenian translation of our manifesto!

• Guides now include a page that shows all the prerequisites used in the guide—currently found in the Management Console, under Site Explorer

• Added product ordering to store device lists: certain devices are now ordered by release date, and tools are now ordered by title
• Tweaked product pages to look better when viewed on mobile devices
• We now ship to Vietnam!

Bugs

• Fixed a bug in which the wrong email was being sent to customers who had requested replacement parts.
• Fixed a bug causing the "add all to cart" functionality to be broken for some products.
• Fixed a bug where, if a user unsubscribed from their own question, re-subscribing wasn't possible.
• Fixed a bug where logged-in users appeared logged-out on 404 pages, and clicking "login" caused the page to hang.
• Fixed a visual bug that affected the "You're Finished!" button at the bottom of guides, causing it to look awkward in some languages.
• Fixed a bug where links to guides in Spam Review did not link properly to guides in languages other than the default language.
• Fixed a bug where untranslated prerequisites of a translated guide did not load properly.
• Fixed a bug in which URLs were not being displayed in the Suppliers table on Wiki pages.
• Fixed a bug where certain device images were not appearing on related questions in the Answers index.
• Fixed a bug where certain words in a chain of breadcrumbs would appear in different languages.
• Fixed a bug that caused introductions to display improperly in guides duplicated with the duplicator tool.
• Fixed a bug where guides whose tags had been edited could no longer be found when searches were run using their new tags.
• Fixed a bug where stories that linked to deleted guides could not be viewed.
• Fixed a bug where keyboard shortcuts on Moderation were overriding normal browser shortcuts.
• Fixed a bug where questions were not being properly upvoted when subscribed to by logged-out users (who then logged in).
• Fixed an error that was occurring when users on iFixit Meta were trying to @mention iFixit users who were not users on Meta.
• Fixed a bug causing display problems in Stories attached to guides that were subsequently deleted.
• Fixed a bug where guide steps in need of re-translation were not being properly marked as such.
• Fixed a bug where denied pending changes to a guide step were causing problems when subsequently editing that step.
• Tweaked the document link that appears on wikis so that it renders better.
• Before, when loading a guide in a language that was not the user's view language, the user's view language would be set to the same language as the guide. Now, the guide loads without affecting the view language.
