Is ifixit going to do a teardown of the new HP Spectre?

It's got an interesting design and it competes with the Macbook Air. I think it would be cool to see what's inside how that hinge design works. Plus they claim it's the world's thinnest laptop, so we should see how they managed that.

Hey zdowns1,

Unfortunately we don't currently have plans to do a teardown of the HP Spectre. We've had our hands full lately with teardowns of the HTC Vive, Retina MacBook 2016, iPhone SE, Oculus Rift CV1, Amazon Echo devices, etc.

With that being said, maybe one of our awesome community members will contribute a teardown of the Spectre. That hinge looks pretty interesting, I'd love to see how it works :)
