Replaced Logic board now it will not boot up past a? folder.

So I purchased a logic card from IFIXIT. I was having trouble with the WIFI on my other logic card. Everything else on the computer worked. After replacing the logic card I turned the computer on and everything seemed to be working well. The Wifi was on and working. I started to download the updates for the software and the FIND MY MAC came on. The alarm sounded. The computer rebooted.

Now when you power up the unit, it comes on with the ? folder.

If you reboot holding down the OPT key it comes up with a Lock on the screen and a white bar that you can type in.

I have tried all of my passwords and none of them seem to unlock it.

Does this mean that who ever owned the logic card before me turned on the FIND MY MAC?

Does this mean I have a brick?

Any and all information will help.

Thanks!!
