How about future shops in China?

With increasing popularity of fixing gadgets and raising amounts of devices to repair,it's time to talk about selling toolkits in China. However, there are so many shops use your name and sell toolkits it in China, which can't ensure quality and So why not open an official shop on third-party platform like Taobao as showed in the picture?

@pccheese - He's trying to make a point with this post. He's not promoting him self or business. Taobao is like eBay it is nothing more that a clearinghouse for people to sell things.

If I understand what his point is others are reselling IFIXIT gear as IFIXIT doesn't have a web store front in China (in Chinese).

Eh, @pccheese. It's spam(y) does raise a good point. And honestly I've been thinking about it. There are loads of shops in china that sell parts and tools that you can walk to! Why don't we have that here? Would it be marketable? Could I do it without sacrificing quality?

That's what iFixit does in the US - you can buy their tools directly or from a authorized seller. I got my classic Pro Tech from Radio Shack since it was cheaper because I didn't have to pay shipping.

That's not what iFixit does @nick and radio shack is going out of style. Did you try circuit city?

I'm pretty sure this is spam. This "TaoBao" place is selling iFixit tools, possibly without them even knowing it. I think they're just trying to advertise their site.

@pccheese - Look at eBay you'll see people reselling IFIXIT gear there as well.

@danj thats actually what I was getting at you can't resell iFixit's parts. It would be nice to be able to run out and grab a random part, instead of playing games with orders
