Where do I find logic board for 1st generation iPod?

Hi. My late husband´s 1st generation iPod does not charge even after having it 12 hrs. on the charger. There is no display either. The computer does not recognize it. I read through your solutions and it seems to need a new logic board. You say you offer it but I couldn´t find it. I don´t know how much it costs or if it´s worth replacing it. I read the instructions and they don´t seem difficult to follow. There is a huge library of music in the iPod that my late husband loved. I would like to recover it if it can be done without a large expense. Thank you.

Hello

Can you put the model of the ipod? It could be a bad battery just

@ginia like Oscar already mentioned, it would be extremely helpful to know exactly what model iPod this is. A new logic board is only a viable solution if it is an iPod that has a hard drive......

An apple store can diagnose if it is just a battery issue. I would take it there first, as their diagnosis is free. Its worth replacing the battery, but not replacing the logic board.
