Is This Where I Can Request Some Kind Soul To Do A Teardown?

I am hoping that someone has the time and inclination to do a teardown of the P51 (Type 20HH, 20HJ) Laptop (Thinkpad). My interest is in a detailed video or pictures with descriptions so that I can get to the cpu and gpu and do a re-paste job. Thanks so much.

Hi there! Unfortunately we can't do a teardown of every device ;) If you'd like to make one yourself, that would be awesome! We also accept device donations for our education program, which generates tons of guides every year =)

Hi @phaedruspress ,

Maybe not as good as a video but here is a link to the service manual for your laptop. (It has diagrams and detailed instructions)

Scroll to p.92 to view the necessary pre-requisite steps and then the procedure to either access or remove the systemboard.

Hopefully this is of some help.
