Why is the compete LCD/Digitizer/Parts LESS expensive

Is the screen/digitizer when purchased independently a higher quality part than the complete package. It says that the screen/digitizer alone is an enconomical alternative and yet it is MORE expensive than the complete assembly. I would rather have the hiqhest quality screen/digitizer and will transfer over the home button if I have to but it doesn't make sense (unless the screen and parts is lower quality).

Hi David,

The screen/digitizer purchased separately is not a higher quality part. The kit is what you want.

You're right—this is confusing. The description was just flat wrong and has been fixed. We will fix the price situation as soon as we can, but it has to stay as-is for now.

Put your self in to sellers position... if you would be selling digitisers for lets say £5 you still would be paying at least £2 for postage. And when you selling lcd with digitiser together you still will be paying same £2 postage. Then you could look as well from other point of view... if you are manufacturing only digitisers, then you will be trying to do best quality you can get. Obviously thats expesier because of labour hrs has been spent on it. And last point of view is when you don't care about quality but do care about quantity as long it meets requirements. So you spend less money on labour hrs for testing and making clients to think that thats standart replacement because it's everywhere.

That's just my opinion though

This response makes no sense. The description of the iPhone 6 LCD screen and digitizer (which sells for 69.99) says:

"This iPhone 6 LCD Screen and Digitizer is our most economical screen replacement option. It does not include the home button, front camera, earpiece speaker, or the LCD shield plate, so you'll need to transfer those parts from your original screen assembly. This part is preferred by repair professionals and more intrepid DIY fixers who are looking to save a few bucks. For an easier and quicker repair experience, check out the full assembly version"

and yet the "full assembly version" sells for five dollars LESS ($64.99). So I am wondering if they are selling a lower quality screen/digitizer in the full assembly version since I know there are lots of varying qualities in these parts.
