Is it possible for me to request a guide
I have an hp officejet 7610 and the encoder strip got disconnect and i dont know how to put it back
Is this a good question?
There's not really a way to request a guide, but if you put it out there you need it done and someone has the hardware then you can potentially get their attention.
Since you are dealing with a printer, I wouldn't be surprised if nobody speaks up quickly or completely ignores this. It's worse with inkjets since parts are universally made of unobtanium (unless stripped from a dead donor), so this is why repairs are usually not attempted with inkjet printers. The encoder strip is usually a part that's replaced with the printhead carrier assembly, so you probably need the whole assembly to do this repair right.
On the other hand I can buy laser parts (within reason) but I need to go dumpster diving for a donor printer to do the same repairs on an inkjet.
