Can these guides be deleted or made private?

I have cloned most of the guides on my banned account over to this account for now. The cloned guides are private (for now) so we don’t have duplicate guides hanging around. Could someone either make these guides private or delete them? I still have to go through and clone my other guides so please don’t delete all of the guides on my banned account, delete only the ones listed here.

Thank you!

I’m considering flagging all of those gudies with the request for deletion flag but I don’t want that to cause an impact on my banned account’s rep.

I believe if you update a post to include an @ mention, it doesn't work. it will only work if it's in the original post to my knowledge.

by

@sam Calling Mrs. Lionheart, can you assist me with this please?

by

Tried to post a link to one of your guides today on an answer, but it's no longer listed in your contribution

by

@mayer Thats odd. I can still view all of them, even when I'm not logged in...

by

@ajcooke01v2 Depending on the edit, it won't result in points if someone completes the guide. Something small like that shouldn't really impact anything if you have to do it.

Hi Aaron,

Part of our agreement to let you create a new account included building up reputation from scratch, not taking advantage of old content from a banned account (user id 2673452). In addition, it seems that most of these guides aren’t repair-oriented. Repair guides should instruct users to resurrect a broken device, not teach them how to install facelifting software. We will be removing irrelevant content. In the future, please make sure to create relevant content. Thank you.

@mayer Shouldn't I at least be able to keep my battery testing guides?

@kristen Remove all of the guides but the battery testing ones, I'm cool with that. Also, I never agreed to completely abandon my old account, rather I agreed I would start over with a new account. Bait and switch?

by

@ajcooke01v2 your lucky they even allowed you to have a new account. don't push your luck.

by

@captainsnowball remember I wasn't the one who even had the idea of moving my old guides onto my new account, rather @mayer requested my old guides be moved over to my new account.

by

That was uncalled for. That comment is enough for me to leave iFixit. Is that your intention?

by

@ajcooke01v2 No, but you are really putting in your two cents worth far to often. Try to concentrate more on content than comments. "I will try my best not to be such a PITA"..
