Multiple issues with emails.

My info:

Account: Gmail

Email Client: Windows 10 Mail Version 16005.11029.20108.0

I have 2 accounts in question, but I’ll get to that later.

Spelling Issues:

[iFixit] Your question "Kenmore Elite Washer Leaking underneath" hasan answer!

[iFixit Meta] You were mentioned on "A question about softwareguides."

[iFixit Meta] Your question "Spam Folder December 2018" has ananswer!

these are some examples. all ifixit emails seem to do this. there is one space missing in all of them. furthermore, I should mention that I do not own the kenmore question or the spam folder question. I am still given an option to accept an answer in the email.

the issue with spaces only appears in ifixit emails, for example, here’s a newegg email:

there are no missing spaces in it.

also, maybe find a way to bundle emails better. The email frequency is insane.

my emails also seem to be split between 2 accounts. promotional emails go to my ifixit.captainsnowball account while everything else goes to my personal account.

Hey Aiden, regarding the spacing of your emails: can you post a screencap? I believe those are the subject lines and they are spelled and spaced correctly on our end. I’m tempted to say the error is with your client.

Regarding addresses: where would you like them to go? Your personal account or your public one?

This is due to the “immediately” email preference on your user profile. See this post on meta if you prefer daily email: Now getting emails with each response to questions I've answered

You will be subscribed to a post if you:

  • Comment
  • Answer
  • Ask the question
  • Click Options -> Subscribe on a post

You can unsubscribe by:

  • Clicking the unsubscribe link in the email (un-watches only the single item)
  • Click Options -> Unsubscribe on a post

Daily emails will batch all comments and new answers into a single email sent out once a day.

Due to merging many different posts into one email, we can not provide a detailed subject line for the email. I.E. One email means no “you were mentioned” or “Post `XXX` has a new answer” as the subject.

Immediate emails will be sent seconds after a new comment, new answer, or you were mentioned.

Each email will have a subject line to match if it’s a comment, answer or mention.
