Multiple guides needing feedback

Bonus: This took 2 drives to complete:

DOH! I wiped the security sector on the first drive, but it also isn’t a total loss since I can still use it externally. Don’t make that same mistake y formatting it outside of the system. I’ve put a clear warning about this in the guide. Also, that black enclosure is apparently a 120GB drive. I see evidence of a label because it protected that part from fading, so I have an idea where it came from.

Since I got a 4GB Xbox 360 E, I needed to get a cheap hard drive. I was hesitant to spend a lot of money at the time, but I knew you could open a 360 Fat drive (from the unreliable 360) and reuse that drive since it only matters in the sense the security sector is present. By no means does the drive doesn’t need to be period correct. As long as you can make it work, these can be reused on a reliable console.

This guide composes of 2 things, which is why it’s a multi guide feedback request:

  • A replacement guide for the original hard drive guide.
    • Do what you want with the old one; I made a new one so I can change the procedure. I didn’t like the approach in the old guide that was already here (bending the drive out just screams bad idea).
  • A guide where I show the final image of what it should look like if you didn’t erase the security sector (or in my case, the factory burned data that I got rid of recovering the drive) (1 step)

While it took 2 hard drives to get this guide to work, I did manage to push it out the same day because I was able to make an emergency trip. Oh well; it happened.

Anyway, is there anything that’s notable that still needs work?
