Google Pixel 2 XL: Why do I have to buy screen and display together?

I don’t understand why I have to buy both parts together when I only need the glass screen and not the actual display replacement? My screen works, I shouldn’t have to spend 200$+ just for the glass screen.

Hi Dylan, The glass and screen are fused/glued together so replacing the glass only, while possible, is extremely hard and is usually something only a professional with the right equipment would attempt. That’s why we don’t offer the glass only part as a solution. Sorry.
