Yeah, pretty exciting news. One hopes the keyboard will also be replaceable separately from the upper case!

@kyle I wouldn't hold my breath for that, but at least they won't die left and right.
Good riddance, butterfly keyboard - never come back.
Do you think Apple has had enough with the heavy cost of replacing all of the uppercases on the current systems? I hope so too!
@danj I'd be sick of it in their position too. I'm not expecting them to get rid of the rivets, but that butterfly keyboard is history with how expen$ive it will be until the systems no longer qualify.
I'd probably give them a new machine with keyboards that works as soon as they complain about it. It's cheaper than having to keep fixing a bad design.
