Parts info incorrect! Needs fix

The MacBook Pro 13" Retina (Late 2016-2019) Display Assembly is not correctly listed! It needs to be listed as (Late 2016-2017) only.

And the MacBook Air 13" (Late 2018) Display Assembly needs to be listed (Late 2018-2019)

For reference:

@danj I can't edit the parts myself but I've passed the message along to the right people so hopefully those part listings are corrected soon. Thanks for catching these!

I edited the MacBook Air 13" (Late 2018-2019) Display Assembly to include the 2019 model. I don’t do the part testing myself but I looked into the testing of MacBook Pro 13" Retina (Late 2016-2019) Display Assembly. According to the person doing the part swapping these days, the display assembly has been tested in an A1989 (2018-2019) machine. @danj Have you attempted to install this display in an A1989 machine and found that it does not function?

@mr_jeff - I had an issue with the 15" model which I had to return as it didn't work properly (2018 system with a broken display, I was trying to use the 2016/17 display).

At the time I was told by the Chinese seller Apple changed things enough the 2016/17 displays won't work on the 2018 models both the 13 & 15" models.

I will look into following up with the supplier for those parts to ask what they claim for compatabity.

@mr_jeff - Jeff the part listing is still wrong!!! There is a very big difference between the 2016/17 display and the 2018/19 displays!

Both the 13" & 15" models need correction!

Yes, I've fought through this, I was shipped a 2016/17 display which will not work properly in a 2018/19 system. The display control panel won't recognize it so you can't adjust the TrueTone or Gamma levels.

I have cropped the compatibility of 123066 and 117064 to 2016-2017. Thanks for bringing this up again. The message I had sent to purchasing to contact the supplier had slipped off the back of the stove.
