I tried a few times to make this link bold, but it kept coming out like this:
It shows it being bold in the editor, but once it is saved the formatting breaks.
Things have changed a lot since you came back. Now you have to highlight the thing you want to make bold if it’s preexisting. For superbold, italics needs to be enabled.

I tried that but it doesn't seem to work on links.

@captainsnowball The bad formatting needs to be removed since it conflicts with the new way. After that, remove ALL references and formatting and then do it. Once you do that, then you may be able to make it bold.
I've never done any extensive link testing.
